In my opinion a man should be the breadwinner in any family because tradition shows that males tend to be the dominant sex. I think that it would be awkward for a male if the female spouse is the breadwinner in the family." The bruised male ego" this will more than likely play a role in relationships such as these. Some male aren't comfortable being stay at home dads. Jim 51 has been a great stay at home dad, but traditional houswife role has been life's dissapointment for him.
Tom Dunham 33, says that the army moms treat him like an outcast, they dont know what to think about a guy in there group. It seems to be awkward for Tom because he is being treated as an outcast by the army moms.
Even though it may be awkward for the men to be stay at home dads some women learn early on to be breadwinners of their families. Some women are raised to be breadwinners as a child so when they enter adulthood they are already use to it. As a girl, Army capt. Kaththea Stagg was told that she was to independent and homemaker was the proper role for a southern girl. She would have none of that. She enlisted in the army to rebel against her dad, then found that she loved the military.
In this blog I have gave my opinion on a role-reversed family in which I said that a man should be the breadwinner but in some families that is not the case.
Why do you think that the men should make the money? What if you are hurt fr life and you can't work so why do you think the men should bring home the bread?
